13 Scions Publishing LLC is an independent publisher based in Frederick, Maryland, United States. Privacy, correction, deletion, and accessibility requests may be sent through the Contact page by selecting the most relevant inquiry type.
Information we collect
The site collects information that visitors choose to provide. Newsletter signup collects an email address, consent, and signup source. The contact form collects a name, email address, inquiry category, and message. Technical security systems may process an IP address, request time, and basic request headers to prevent abuse.
Why we use it
Newsletter information is used to operate the publisher mailing list and send publication, journal, and submission-window news. Contact information is used to route and answer inquiries. Security data is used only to protect the forms and service.
Service providers
Newsletter and contact submissions are stored through the publisher’s private OpenAI Sites data service. An external delivery relay may also receive the same fields when available. The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Those providers process information on behalf of the publisher under their own infrastructure and security practices.
Security and logging
Forms use server-side validation, same-origin checks, a honeypot, request timing, and rate limiting. Contact and consent records are available only through an authenticated owner workspace. Operational delivery logs exclude message content and store a one-way email hash rather than the email address. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Submissions and files
Manuscript submissions are closed. The public site does not accept, upload, or store manuscript files. A separate submission notice will describe private storage, file handling, malware scanning, access, retention, and deletion before intake opens.
Retention and your choices
Mailing-list information is retained until unsubscribe, deletion request, or retirement of the list. Contact inquiries are retained only as needed to route, answer, and document the inquiry. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information through the Contact page. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe route.
Cookies and analytics
The current site uses no advertising technology, behavioral analytics, or nonessential cookies. Security and hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical data to deliver and protect the site.

Links to Trexlin.net and other external services lead to independently operated websites with their own policies. Material changes to this policy will appear on this page with a revised last-updated date.
