13 Scions Publishing LLC is an independent publisher based in Frederick, Maryland, United States. Privacy, correction, deletion, and accessibility requests may be sent through the Contact page by selecting the most relevant inquiry type.
Information we collect
The site collects information that visitors choose to provide. Newsletter signup collects an email address, consent, and signup source. The contact form collects a name, email address, inquiry category, and message. A query application collects author and project information. A beta-tester application collects a name, email, age, general location, Apple device information, interests, background, testing experience, and consent. Technical security systems may process an IP address, request time, and basic request headers to prevent abuse.
Why we use it
Newsletter information is used to operate the publisher mailing list. Contact information is used to route and answer inquiries. Query information is used for editorial evaluation and correspondence. Beta application information is used to evaluate applicants, assemble a useful testing group, issue TestFlight invitations, administer the beta, and document selection status. Security data is used only to protect the forms and service.
Service providers
Newsletter, contact, and query records use private server-side storage associated with this site. An external delivery relay may receive newsletter and contact fields when available; query editorial material is not sent through that relay. The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Those providers process information on behalf of the publisher under their own infrastructure and security practices.
Security and logging
Forms use server-side validation, same-origin checks, a honeypot, request timing, request-size limits, and rate limiting. Contact, consent, and query records are available only through an authenticated owner workspace. Operational delivery logs exclude editorial content. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Submissions and files
The current query window is text-only. The public site does not accept, upload, or store manuscript files, archives, images, executable material, or binary attachments. If further material is requested, the publisher will provide separate instructions and disclose the applicable private storage and security process before accepting files.
Retention and your choices
Mailing-list information is retained until unsubscribe, deletion request, or retirement of the list. Contact inquiries are retained only as needed to answer and document the inquiry. Query records may be retained for up to 365 days. Beta applications are retained for the beta selection and testing period and deleted when no longer reasonably needed to administer or document the program. You may request access, correction, withdrawal, or deletion through the Contact page and should include the relevant reference when applicable.
Cookies and analytics
The current site uses no advertising technology, behavioral analytics, or nonessential cookies. Security and hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical data to deliver and protect the site.
External links and changes
Links to Trexlin.net and other external services lead to independently operated websites with their own policies. Material changes to this policy will appear on this page with a revised last-updated date.
